Railroad Collectibles: $250 Sterling Silver Oblong "Coin" 1010 Grams 99.99% Pure Silver Commemorating Canadian Steam Engine. A fantastic collectible for the railroad enthusiast. In 2019, Canada minted a stunning, concave, Sterling Silver (99.99% pure) "coin", encased in a custom lucite case and presented in a handsome, premium dark oak hinged box in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Canadian Rail. The panoramic relief of Canada's vast wilderness and train is engraved in ultra-high relief of the CN 6060 rounding a bend as the steam locomotive hauls a line of passenger cars across a truss bridge. 1010 grams or just at 32.5 troy ounces. The Canadian Mint has really raised the bar with this truly beautiful commemorative coin with a face value of $250.00. Also, these are not easy to find. Box and "coin" mint, with the outer cardboard box very fine with a discrete reinforced corner otherwise fine. Estimated Value $300 - 600
The Culver City Collection.
