Johnny Depp. "Wolfman" (Original Oil on Canvas). Offered is AN ORIGINAL IMPASTO PAINTING ON CANVAS by Johnny Depp created June 14, 1994 to close friend, Jonathan Shaw. A compelling work with Depp creating a surreal interpretation of a werewolf or lycanthrope, in slashes of deep blacks and burgundy. Depp has initialed inside the white "drip" in lower right corner. On the verso of canvas Depp has hand lettered " J.S. this wolfman? came out of Happy Smiley stable days so I pass him on to you in hopes that he will smile his rotten underbite on all shitty days until the end.
