Kurt Kaufman. Kitchen Ware Designs. Kurt Kaufman has proven to be over the years a brilliant designer and among his many accomplishments: Conceptual artist and designer for Industrial Light & Magic, including hardware, concept vehicles, interiors and more. Check out his site (http://www.kurtkaufman.com) Back in 1981, he found himself contacted to design a line of cookware for a woman looking to break into high-end cookware. These are two of the original designs by Kaufman and in spite of the product, the art is stunning. These are worthy of framing and would be quite at home in any contemporary kitchen area. Both measure 14 x 25' and are only lightly tacked to foam core. Both in very fine condition with scant evidence of handling. Framed these would prove most winning.
Note: We reached out to Mr. Kaufman and he confirmed these were his original designs and quite amused to see them again after 4 decades. Estimated Value $250 - 600
