Sammy Davis Jr: Custom Made Tuxedo Jacket & Vest by Bego Certo of Beverly Hills (1925-1990) Custom made, fine wool performance textured tuxedo jacket and vest for "Mr. Showbiz", Sammy Davis Jr., Singer, Dancer, Comedian, Las Vegas legend and Civil Rights Activist whose contributions and visibility were considerable.
Hand tailored by Bego Certo of Beverly Hills (Sinatra, Carson, Hope etc.) a classic tuxedo jacket with a beautifully patterned wool fabric, plain vest but with both pieces having fine satin accents including the buttons. What is amusing is how small the tuxedo is as Davis was only 5'2" and 120 pounds but he was a huge entertainer and one of the great pop culture icons of the 20th Century. Estimated Value $500 - 900
