The medal with 5 clasps/bars include South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902, Orange Free State, Cape Colony and Transvaal. Medal awarded to a Pte A. McMath. The medal with 4 clasps/bars include Witterbergen, Diamond Hill, Johannesburg and Cape Colony. Medal awarded to Pte G. Pont. One of the two medals with 3 clasps has Relief of Ladysmith, Tugela Heights and Cape Colony while the other has Belfast, Laing's Nek and Cape Coloney, with both medals awarded.
