Lot 1565

1934-S Peace Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. This is one of the key dates to the Peace dollar series. Rarely are any found in gem condition. In fact, PCGS has graded 92 this high, with just 14 graded higher (all MS-66) making this one of the best to survive. This particular coin has flashy gold and green hues around the periphery, and is brighter on the reverse. We note two small reeding marks on the back of the neck, while Liberty's face is quite fresh and clean. Well struck for this date, and a gem for the advanced numismatist.
Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,000.
From the Benson collection.

Realized $6,900
