1881-S Morgan Dollar. NGC graded MS-64. Toned with glowing jewel tones on all but the upper one fifth of the coin, and probably protected from toning by the edge of another coin which lay on top here. Deep blue, red, purple and green on the obverse in glorious hues that exude a vibrancy not seen often. Minor surface marks do not detract given the toning. Obviously from near the top of a bag, and certain to delight the toned dollar specialist.
