1953-S Franklin Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. One of the most difficult dates to find with "Full Bell Lines", this one has a better than average strike, but is weak on the center bell lines, as always. Locating a fully struck specimen has become downright expensive, as seen in the famous sale of a gem in January 2001 by our friends Bowers and Merena. Clean surfaces.
