Great Collection of a WWII Bomber Pilot with the 456 Bomb Group: Aerial Raid Photos, Personal Base Photos, Insignia and More. Wonderful archive of a pilot's archive of his tour of duty with The 456 Bombardment Group. Collection includes 5 vintage aerial bombing photos of Italy, Austria and Gemany, about 40 personal photos(3 x 4½ and smaller) of him and fellow pilots, photos of Italy, bombed ruins and bomber planes. Also included his insignia from his uniform, War Department ID discharge papers, letters of commendation and more. Very well kept for 70+ years and all together fascinating. Finally one vintage original "Remember Pearl Harbor" war propaganda poster in superior condition. Estimated Value $250 - 500
