Apollo 9 Mission Beta Cloth Uncut Patch Sheet. An uncut Beta cloth sheet with black guide lines measuring 18" x 18" of 4 Apollo 9 Mission Beta patches made for NASA in collaboration by Owens Corning, Dupont and Screen Print Corp. Prints are clean with only the black printing a bit off center and come with an LOA.

Due to the tragedy of Apollo 1, NASA focused on making conditions safer for its crews and as a result a fireproof fabric (Beta cloth) created by Owens Corning and Dupont was to be used for the A7L spacesuits and patches among other items. While the Beta cloth was produced by Owens Corning and Dupont the screen printing needed to create the mission patches was outsourced to Screen Print Corp. Estimated Value $250 - UP
