Original Apollo Space Suit Shoulder Cable Guide Ring, Shoulder Mobility Assembly for the A7L and A7LB Space Suits. Original stainless steel cable guide ring, part of the complex shoulder mobility joint of the Apollo A7L and A7LB space suit configurations. These were externally mounted to the upper right and left shoulder areas of the space suit pressure garment by a braided aircraft-type cable routed through the steel tube formed to take the shape of the outer shoulder. Ring was then anchored to the front and back areas of the pressure garment allowing for a full range of pressurized shoulder motion. This authentic hardware comes with a more detailed two page fact sheet with three images demonstrating its use.
