Rare Gemini Space Suit Tether Hook Mechanism. Nylon webbing restraint straps were used to hold the Gemini environmental life support system (ELSS) chestpack against the space suit chest area. Attached to one of the restraint strap was this hook mechanism used for securing miscellaneous gear during extravehicular activities. This one was used for crewmember training. Hook mechanism comes with fact sheet that has a photo showing the location of the hook on the Gemini space suit. Minor evidence of use (some paint chipping). Estimated Value $900 - 1,000
