15 Extremely Rare Photo Postcards of Early Aviation, Dirigibles and Pilots Including One of the Wright Brothers Plane. 15 rare photo postcards for every level of collector of early aviation, including pilots and WWI. Many of these cards came from France, about half have been stamped and addressed and are overall in good to very good condition. There are six regarding dirigibles including the Le "Jaune" dirigible in flight by Chalais-Meudon, and another while docked in hanger also called the Le Dirigeable LeBaudy' and the large funeral procession of victims in a dirigible crash held in Versailles. For aviation a shot of "I'Aéroplane Wright", a stunning near pristine post card of a WWI German plane plummeting from the skies after being hit, Aug. 22, 1977 (both cards very important), images of Douglas Corrigan, and several French designers with their planes.
