Double Eagle II, the first launched from Presque Isle, Maine, USA on August 12, 1978 and landed at Miserey, France on August 17, 1978 with the time aloft 137 hrs 6 minutes. Flown cover stamp postmarked on launch date in Maine and postmarked in Fance on landing. Cover is signed by Maxie Anderson, Ben Abrusso and Larry Newman and is inside a custom presentation which includes a color photo and a segment of the balloon fabric.
