Carl Erskine; Los Angeles Dodgers Uniform, Cap, Signed Photo and Hand Written Note. Carl Erskine (1926-) celebrated pitcher who played his entire career for the Brooklyn and LA Dodgers, Erskine still holds the record for the most strikeouts in a single game during the World Series. Post career, Erskine coached for 12 years at Anderson College and authored two books. Offered is a complete LA Dodgers #17 uniform (Goodman athletic wear size 46 from Erskine, Pants 36/ 28 with Erskine #17 hand printed inside waist) a new Dodgers cap (Authentic Collection Size 7¼) and some great photos with descriptions handwritten on verso of the players present and the game played. Also included are practice pants, 10 newer sports cards featuring Erskine, a portrait photo, boldly signed by Erskine and a handwritten note on his casual letterhead.
