Ball boasts 22 authentic signatures and one non-malicious club house signature (Leo Durocher) as certified and authenticated by James Spence Authentication. Key signatures included are Ralph Branca, Les Webber, Dixie Walker, Eddie Stanky, Curt Davis and Chuck Dressen. All signed in steel-tip fountain pen. Ball at some point was coated with a varnish to protect the integrity of the signatures which are on the whole, very legible. in 1945, the Dodgers came in 3rd in the National League.
