Three (3) Rare Pieces of Sterling Silver: Small Teapot (1880s), Breakfast Teapot (George III, 1790s) Heavy Bowl Richard Gurney (1750s). Four fine individual sterling silver pieces. (31 ozt total for all three)
1.) Larger teapot is from FW Cooper Silversmith. Francis Cooper operated between 1842-1890 who was known primarily for communion silver. So his secular pieces are quite scarce. Teapot is marked FW Cooper 151 Amity Sweet, NY 900/1000, 5½ x 7 x 5" and in excellent condition.
2.) Smaller teapot by Henry Chawner and John Emes of London ca. 1790s, HC over IE hallmark, very fine+ condition with only a few dings to the spout. 4½ x 7 x 3"
3.) Heavy, medium sized bowl Thomas Cooke II & Richard Gurney or Richard Gurney and Co. T over R.G over C into a quatrefoil. King George II era, 1750s, bowl is in superior condition with no dings or contusions, beautifully kept for two hundred plus years. Estimated Value $1,200 - 2,000
