Rare, Exceptional George III Silver Teapot, Mark of Crispin Fuller, London ca. 1804-1805. A rare treasure in this magnificent George III/Regency teapot. Four British hallmarks indicate teapot by Crispin Fuller (CF raised impression) the George III hallmark, Sheffield mark and the lion passant mark indicating silver purity.
He was apprenticed at 14 years old to Hester Bateman (famous female silversmith) and married her granddaughter, Sarah, in 1781. A London maker who entered his first mark on 29th December, 1792. Oval shaped, fluted teapot with bone handle and pineapple finial decorated with beautiful and intricate engravings surrounding in foliate designs surrounding cartouche sans monogram. Exceptionally well cared for. There are no issues whatsoever with this piece, beautiful condition. 7 x 11 x 4" and 15.3 ozt. Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000
