5-Piece Lot of Eastern Greek Intaglio Seals, Ca 5th-9th Century A.D. Consist of : a) Orange Carnelian (12.5mm, 0.67g), depicting a Nike/ Victory riding a quadriga, chipped edge on left side; b) Oval Heliotrope (12.5 X 9.5mm, 1.63g) with holes through both sides; c) Dome shaped translucent Chalcedony (11.4X12.6X4.3mm, 1.03g), depicting a cow suckling her calf, minor chipped on the corner; d) Dark Carnelian (17.5X14.6X4mm, 2.2g), depicting a crowded male(might be Hermes?) to left, in his right hand he holds a palm branch and has something (might be Caduceus?) in his left hand, minor chipped on right corner; e) Gemstone of white and orange banded agate (19.6X22x5.4mm, 3.67g), depicting an abstract male portrait with legend around, repaired on corner.
