22K Yellow Gold Ring with a Carved Agate Intaglio of a Bird, Likely a Revival Piece. Terrific high karat yellow gold ring, likely early 19th Century revival, having a banded agate where the carver etched bird feet, a body and wing which would not work without incorporating the natural lines of color of the agate. Quite the odd piece that is conjointly winning. Ring is wearable, a size 4-4¼ and with a total gross weight of 5 grams. Estimated Value $500 - 800
