Ancient Judea Collection of Three Pieces from the Holy Land. 1.) Iron age terracotta jar ca. 930 BC with brown painted linear designs 3¼ x 4" and in fine condition with a small discrete repair. Original receipt and COA from J. Zadok & Sons, Jerusalem, 1976 with display stand.
2.) Late Roman (ca. 600 A.D.) terracotta juglet 3" tall. Original receipt and COA from J. Zadok & Sons, Jerusalem, 1976 with display stand.
3.) Roman Byzantine ancient oil lamp housed in a fitted well crafted olive wood box from forests in Jerusalem with an inscribed plaque made of copper from King Solomon's mines, the glass ring that holds the scroll explaining all the elements of the box is from Hebron and a large Byzantine coin is affixed to lid of box. Assembled by A. Klein Ltd., Jerusalem. A fine piece reaching back to the past in a smart presentation. Estimated Value $400 - 600
