Four (4) Kachina Dolls; "Ogre", "White Wolfman", "Deer" and "Eagle Dancer" Three by Largo one by N. Smith. Four medium sized Kachina dolls all having great details and craftsmanship. This is a fine collection consistent in size and quality. All about 11" tall.
1.) "Ogre" is by N. Smith complete with dyed black fur and colorful horn headdress. Signed underneath base
2.) "White Wolfman" by Largo, very colorful with painted red snout, leather loincloth, colorful yarns, wooden bow with arrows and headdress if fur and feathers.
3.) "Deer" by Largo, instantly recognizable with it carved set of antlers. The deer was one of the most sacred animals of the Hopi bringing rain, making the grass grow, and ensuring there is plentiful food for the future. Yarn, feathers, shells and leather complete this carving. Signed under base
4.) "Eagle Dancer" by Largo. One of the most collected Kachinas given the spectacular use of feathers, a full cape of feathers stretching the entire span when arms outstretched. Signed under base. Estimated Value $250 - 400
