Collection of Original Art and Signatures by Some of the Great Comic Illustrators of the 20th Century. Fine collection of original comic art and autographs by beloved cartoonists of the 20th Century. 1.) Rare caricature and fine inscription and signature by Pulitzer Prize Winner C.D. Batchelor dated 1938 4.5 x 5¼". 2.) Autographed ticket by the FOUR KINGS OF THE COMICS from the King Features Syndicate 75th Anniversary signed by Stan Drake, Hank Ketchum, Mort Walker and Bill Keane, 3.) Mort Walker autograph with Beetle Bailey caricature. 4.) Inscribed and signed card with Joe Palooka caricature by Ham Fisher dated 1937 with another far more recent by Tony DiPreta. 5.) Signed and dated menu by Harry Hershfield with Abie the Agent caricature. 6.) Outstanding Hank Ketchum illustrated Dennis The Menace on artist board, 11 x 7" with colors and terrific inscription. Also a fast sketched Dennis and autograph at signing event. 7.) John Berry original cartoon from Berry's World. 8.) Original strip by Bud Blake from his long running Tiger strip plus a TLS saying an original. 9.) Two Bill Keane autographs with caricatures of Billy dated 1981 and 1990. 10.) Large Ted Key illustration of Hazel and signature 7 x 10½". 11.) 3 signed photos with his creations as if standing on his desk and two caricatures of Woody Woodpecker, original and signed, one having his pencil outline. 11.) Charles Schulz signed newspaper strip from 1979, newsprint has toned. 12.) Dean Young original caricature of Dagwood Bumstead with fine signature and inscription. 13.) V.T. Hamlin and Jack Bender original pencil sketches for Alley Ooop on vellum. Sketches dated 1974 so likely by Bender as he took over in 1971. 14.) From a MAD Magazine Comic Convention, four autographs with original sketches by Des Develin, Don "Duck" Edwing, Sam Viviano, Rick Tulka, and a bold autograph by Dick DeBartolo. 15.) Outstanding hand illustrated and watercolor postcard by Hank Schlensker and his "Buzz Sawyer" gang, beautiful piece. 16.) 4 Adriana Caselotti photos signed and two ALS "voice of Snow White" and signed postcard by Dave Butler, voice of Elroy on "The Jetsons".
