Dumas, Alexandre; Autographed Note Signed Having a Splendid Example of his Artful Signature (1802-1870) One of the most enduring and prolific authors of the 20th Century, his novels "The Count of Monte Cristo", "The Three Musketeers", "Twenty Years After" and "The Corsican Brothers" were sensations worldwide. It is estimated that just over 200 films have been based on his works both in silent and sound films and his works are still read with great enthusiasm today. Brief written note in French beautifully signed "A. Dumas". Roughly translated "Salvador, Give a lodge to Alexandre" possibly a reference to Dumas' involvement with the freemasons. 8 x 5" and framed with image 13 x 16". Very nice presentation.
