Churchill, Lord Randolph S, Influential British Statesman, Father of Winston Churchill, ALS Congratulating Friend on Knighthood (1849-1895) Autographed letter signed on 50 Grosvenor Square letterhead dated June 11, 1893. To a close friend name George congratulating him on his new title and knighthood and how difficult of time he is having calling him "Sir". Signed Randolph S. Churchill with penmanship very legible considering his rapidly deteriorating health at the time. The letter is quite heartfelt, flattering and brimming with good fortune. 10 x 8" folded and in very fine condition with only a thin strip of mounting tape on fold. Estimated Value $250 - 400
