Doug Weigel. "Day's End". There are few sculptors whose works are consistent and instantly recognizable as Doug Weigel's steel sculptures. His works have legions of fans as his representation galleries across the US exploded having first gaining fame in New Mexico and Arizona. His figures have a playful, stylized look, his sculptures suitable for indoor and outdoor. But what are hard to find are desktop versions of his works. This piece stands 7½" tall and most certainly captures his whimsical characters. Titled and signed on verso by Doug Weigel and dated 5/2/95, Santa Fe. Estimated Value $200 - 400
