Frederic Remington. "Bronco Buster". Los Angeles Poker Classic winning trophy from 2020 "GAME OF THROES" held at Commerce Casino, the longest running poker tournament series in L.A. The Classic chose very fine bronze castings of Frederic Remington's sculptures for their most prestigious awards. Winner was Hermilo Vargas.

(1861-1909) Frederic Remington,America's most celebrated and beloved Western artist of the late 19th early 20th Century whose art has been the favorite of many American presidents. Sculpture of a heavily mustached cowboy, rugged cowboy character fighting to stay aboard a rearing, plunging bronco, with a stirrup swinging free, a quirt in one hand and a fistful of mane and reins in the other. It was the first and remains the most popular of all of Remington's sculptures; cast in bronze and mounted to dark wood base. One side of base has plaque "LAPC 2020 ODB GAME OF THROES", the opposing side "Bronco Buster by FREDERIC REMINGTON". 14" (tall including base) x 9" (wide) x 5" (deep) and weighs 16 pounds. Mint condition, and a fantastic casting of this most popular work. Estimated Value $800 - 1,500
