Barrett DeBusk. "Bathwater Serenade" Wire Sculpture. Barrett DeBusk has been making a splash with his metal and wire sculptures for over 30 years, many of which are public installations throughout the nation and certainly available in the finest galleries. Whimsical best describes his 3-D wall sculptures and they are all kinds of charming. Here he has captured a more Southwest or even Western themed work of a cowboy in a stock tank taking his bath while serenading to the moon and stars. His works are all originals, no two alike and certainly the case here. While the image certainly captures his artistry, in person, the layers of his sculpture creates a joyful, eye-popping effect on a blank wall. This work measures 25 x 34" and can stand on a table against a wall, or very easily be hung with picture hanging hooks. The sculpture is not heavy weighing less than 5 pounds. "Signed" along the right side in meta, DeBusk. Do indeed research the artist and note that this work is one of his very best. Estimated Value $800 - 1,500
From the Collection of Sally Ann Skeoch.
