Makk, Americo. "Gentleness". (1927-2015) Hungarian/American portrait painter including two US Presidents, Carter and Reagan, Americo Makk proved an immensely popular artist with collector, politicians and celebrities. Offered is a limited edition of an original serigraph of an older, gentle Rabbi. Expressive and serene, the serigraph certainly captures Makk's technique of light in illuminating faces. Image size is 16 x 12" pulled on Coventry 320 gram paper using 66 colors with every separation hand painted. Examined in frame, serigraph is in mint condition and numbered 148/275 with Makk signing in pencil in lower right. Edition was issued in 1990. Handsomely matted and frame in gilt wood to 27 x 22".
