Loren Fry. "Sorting At The Fence". (1924-2016) Popular and celebrated Western cowboy and horse genre artist whose works are highly prized due to his use of light and spectacular capture of livestock and landscape. These talents are on full display in this work "Sorting at the Fence" with two cowboys culling a herd of cattle. Acrylic on panel,
20 x 30" and framed to 31 x 41" in very fine distressed wood of fine quality.
Do note the details in this work especially how the light just grazes the backs of the cattle. Fry proved himself for over 50 years a most accomplished artist.
