Jackie Lewis Bowker (J. Lewis Bowker). "Desert Spring, Ocotillo in Bloom". Jacqueline Lewis Bowker is one of the most popular Southern California desert artists of her time. She is well known for her accurate portrayals of majestic Palm Springs and other desert locations. In capturing the light and blooming flora during March through June, she creates works of stunning beauty. Her international acclaim and popularity in galleries, most especially Richard Danskin (Galleries) who admired and elevated her works, speaks volumes to the appreciation of her skills. Original oil and canvas 36 x 40" handsomely framed to 43 x 47". Painting has had only one owner, in a smoke free environment, and is in the same condition when purchased in the early 1990s. A beautiful example of her work. Estimated Value $2,500 - 3,500
From the Collection of Sally Ann Skeoch.
