Three Scripts: 1981 Shooting Script for ET by Melissa Mathison, 1988 Batman Script by Warren Skaaren and Script/Production Pitch by Bo Derek. Three script from the 1980s.
1. Rare and comprehensive script and budget breakdown of costs sent to Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus then with Canon Films with original letter signed by Bo Derek on embossed SVENGALI Inc letterhead with art by Frank Frazetta. Derek is pitching "EVE AND THAT DAMNED APPLE" and writes the studio heads that the budget is at 7 million will be filmed in New Zealand. This binder contains the original letter, script and complete production background printed on premium stock paper and not a broadly dispersed copy. This film was put in turnaround and the Dereks went with "BOLERO" at Cannon instead.
2.) Script for BATMAN, Draft #3 by the most sought after script doctor of the 1980s, Warren Skaaren. The 10 year process to bring BATMAN to the screen and Skaaren was quite involved in what finally Tim Burton had to work with. The road makes for interesting reading with scores of articles on the internet.
3.) Shooting script for E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial which originally went by A BOY'S LIFE also on the script by Melissa Mathison, revised Sept. 8, 1981. Estimated Value $200 - 400
