19.) RARE, prized, December 1967 Playbill which includes three cut songs from the original Off-Broadway production of the "American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, "HAIR". The original production opened October 29th at the Joseph Papp Public Theatre and ran for 49 performances. Ticket demand proved overwhelming so the production was moved to a former disco on Broadway and 53rd called The Cheetah for 45 performances prior to moving to the Biltmore Theatre where it ran for nearly 1800 performances. This Playbill is famous for it's cover and of course the Cheetah clearly printed in top heading. In fine condition, modest evidence of handling. A great number of stars ultimately performed in various productions of "HAIR" including famously, Diane Keaton, Melba Moore, Meatloaf, Ben Vereen, Ted Neeley, Donna Summer, Andrea DeShields, Elaine Paige, Joe Montegna, Paul Jabara and scores more.
