Unique Bronze Sculpture of Mickey Donald, Goofy, Pluto and Jiminy Cricket by Brett Livingston Strong. Bronze sculpture by artist Brett Livingston Strong. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck lounge on Walt Disney's chair, which has Disney's hat, coat, and pipe on one arm. Jiminy Cricket perches on the back of the chair and Goofy leans on the chair. Pluto sits in front of the chair. The lyrics to the song "When you wish upon a star" are engraved on the back of the chair, with Tinker Bell flitting above. Below the lyrics, "Walt Disney 1901-1966" is engraved. Approximately 13" high, including a 2½" marble base, which has a circumference of 14". Weight is 63 lbs. The sculpture was intended to be a mold for a limited edition porcelain celebrating Disney's 50th anniversary, but the project did not come to fruition. A wonderful, unique Disney display item.
Artist Brett Livingston Strong is known for his monumental sculptures of entertainers, including John Lennon, Lawrence Welk, Michael Jackson and John Wayne as well as free-form, abstract pieces.

Condition is excellent. Goofy unscrews (per the previous owner to safely ship due to his height and weight. To do so the soft weld securing the elbow to chair was detached and is completely invisible when Goofy in place and secure.
