Letters of thanks and praise by politicians on their official letterheads including Walter Mondale on Ambassador of The United States of America Tokyo letterhead thanking Hall for producing a film about Chiune Sugihara but that department rules forbid any endorsement by him. Others include two by Congressman Henry Waxman, two by Senator Scoop Jackson, on e by Senator Bob Packwood and one by Gray Davis as Controller of the State of California letterhead.
