Chartered November 4, 1899, the Brooks NB would not complete their 20 year charter, being liquidated in March 1917 after only issuing 1882 Brown and Date Backs. A paltry $1,000 was left outstanding in notes upon liqudation, and today a dozen notes are recorded. Signed by John Brooks as Cashier and Isaac Brooks at President. Some repair work is noted.
