$5 National Bank Note. Home NB, Holyoke, MA. Ch. 3128. Fr. 467. PMG Very Fine 25. Chartered in 1884, the Home NB would issue Brown Backs and all three types of 1902 notes before being liquidated on December 30, 1916. Simply a lovely Circus Poster layout, likely the finest known on the bank that only has 11 total large notes reported. Pen signatures of Edwin L. Munn as Cashier and James H. Newton as President, as both served together from 1884 through 1891. This is the first appearance of any note on this bank since 2017. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
