Caracalla, with Geta, as Caesar. Æ Medallion of 8 Assaria (24.88 g), AD 198-209. Perinthus in Thrace. AY K M AY ANTWNEINOC KAI Π CEΠ ΓETAC KAICAP, on left, laureate bust of Caracalla right, facing, on right, bare-headed bust of Geta left, each wearing cuirass with gorgoneion on breastplate. Reverse: AKTIA ΠYΘIA around, ΦIΛAΔEΛΦEIA / ΠEPINΘIΩN / NEΩKOPΩN in exergue, votive table with lion's feet legs, surmounted by two palm branches between two prize crowns; below the table an amphora and five balls.
