Diva Faustina I. Æ Sestertius (25.78 g), died AD 140/1. Rome, under Antoninus Pius, ca. AD 141-146. DIVA AVGVSTA FAVSTINA, diademed, veiled and draped bust of Faustina I right. Reverse: MATRI DEVM SALVTARI around, S C in exergue, Cybele seated right between two lions, holding drum on knee. RIC 1145; BMC 1439. Rare. Sharply struck with excellent details. Uniform green patina. We note some smoothing and possible tooling. Extremely Fine. Estimated Value $2,000 - UP
