Reverse: IMP XXXXII COS XVII. p.p. Constantinopolis enthroned l. holding globus cruciger and sceptre, l. foot on small prow, shield at side, star in left field, mint mark COM OB in ex. S-21140; D.O. 414-423. No officina. A lustrous example. About Uncirculated. Estimated Value $700 - UP
The reverse legend on this issue exhibits three punctuated marks after the last three letters. This curious use of periods is a form of dating noteworthy events.
