Hadrian, A.D. 117-138. Gold Aureus (6.69g). Mint of Rome, AD 125-128. Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian facing r. with light drapery on far shoulder. Reverse: COS III, She-wolf suckling Romulus and Remus. Calicò 1233a; Cf. S-3388; RIC 3388 (Cos IIII). Small flan crack at 11 o'clock. Fine hairlines from an old cleaning. Boldly struck in high relief and well centered. Very Fine. Estimated Value $2,500 - UP
