Attica, Athens, ca. 440-404 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (17.26 g). Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive-leaves and floral scroll; wears pearl necklace and earring. Reverse: AΘE, Owl standing r. head facing; olive sprig and crescent behind in deep incuse square. SNG Cop. 31; Starr pl. XXII, 7. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Excellent metal.
