Dated 1947 (1908-1973) Typed letter signed by Johnson as Congressman from the 10th Texas District dated February 11, 1947 to a Doctor Kirkpatrick on the loss of his wife. Beautiful and considerate note of condolence especially the opening passage. 11 x 8½" with original envelope. Very clean signature by Johnson executed in steel point fountain pen.
