Still creating masterful works of art after 40 years in Mackinac Island, has etched a stunning period scene of walrus and a sailing ship with superb, deeply etched detail and lustrous polish. The ship itself is a magnificent example of this popular scrimshander. The work is entitled "Mariners of the Bering Sea"
