Antique Chinese Tibetan Silver Bronze Incense Censer with Nephrite Jade Insets and Carvings With Turquoise, Coral and Lapis Gems, 20th Century. Magnificent antique Tibetan silver washed bronze incense burner / censer. In a pagoda style the censer has three levels of inlaid panels of nephrite jade that completely surround the censer top two set apart with diamond shaped carved stones of coral and turquoise. Just above that a large band of coral, jade and turquoise inlaid stones polished to a high gleam again surrounding the censer. The lid has large tear drop and round shaped cabochons in coral, turquoise and lapis. The chimney has impressive open scroll work, four jade medallions also with open work, and finally topped with a finely carved small monkey atop and exaggerated pear shaped gourd.

The work in this piece is worthy of very close inspection. Overall in superior condition we note six of the very tiny diamond shaped stones on the outer perimeter. Otherwise this is a wonderful piece of Tibetan traditional art worthy of any level of collector. 13 x 10 x 7". On stand 15½" tall. Estimated Value $1,000 - 2,000
