American Bandstand Collection: Signed Contracts and Photos by Dick Clark + Singers & Bands Who Appeared on Show, 44 Autographs! American Bandstand was a music and dance television program that aired in various versions from 1952 to 1989 highlighted by performances by the most popular singers of the time. It was hosted from 1956 until its final season by Dick Clark which propelled him to one of the top producers in the latter half of the 20th Century. This collection of autographs and signed pieces are just a small percentage of the talent that appeared on the show.
From Dick Clark himself a signed photo (from one of his game shows) and a 20 Years of Rock N' Roll Yearbook printed in 1973 that has autographs throughout by Little Anthony, John Phillips, Eddie & Dave Brigati of The Rascals, Johnny Maestro, Rob Grill of the Grassroots. Also included are four contracts issued by the Click Corporation c/o WFIL-TV all from the 1960s for appearances on AMERICAN BANDSTAND signed by Tony Bennett, and three by popular comedians at the time Jack E. Leonard (adding his real name, Leonard Lebi), Steve Rossi and Marty Allen who frequently performed together as Allen & Rossi and a photo signed on verso by all four members of The Elegants of Little Star fame.

Also included is a trivia game card signed by Paul Anka where he is one of the answers, 8 autographs by John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas including sheet music signed from his songs California Dreamin' and Monday Monday, two enormous hits at the time. An 8 x 10 photo signed by Michelle Phillips, two magazine pages regarding the songs Groovin' and Good Lovin' by The Young Rascals Eddie & Dave Brigati, an 8 x 10" vintage original photo signed by John Sebastian of The Lovin' Spoonful, signed 8 x 10" photo by Dion, 5 pieces signed by Leslie Gore who proved one of the youngest performers on Bandstand singer her monster hit It's My Party, 12 pieces signed by Petula Clark with one inscribed boldly "Don't Sleep in the Subway, Love Petula Clark" and finally two 8 x 10 photos, plus one handwritten letter signed by Peter Allen who performed on Bandstand as the "Allen Brothers" whose hits included Calendar Girl, a signed 3 x 5" card by Fats Domino plus several more entertainers of the time.

Overall the autographs and signed pieces are in excellent condition. Estimated Value $300 - 500
