Lot 534

1794 S-71 R2 Head of 1795 PCGS graded XF45, CAC Approved. Choice light to medium brown with mint frost covering the protected areas on both sides. A very attractive cent with a touch of wear on the devices and just a few minor marks. The notable marks are a spot of very fine carbon in the hair left of the ear lobe, a thin nick on the left edge of the shoulder, a small rim bruise at ED in UNITED, and a diagonal nick below the C in CENT. LDS, Breen state VI, with clear die cracks and die clashmarks on the upper part of the obverse. Our grade is VF30. The attribution and Alfonso Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 7 finer. Estimated Value $3,000 - UP
