1794 S-57 R1 PCGS graded XF45. Glossy dark steel brown and olive. No roughness or verdigris, and the only notable marks are a few microscopic planchet chips in the field near the rim before the portrait. E-MDS, Breen state II, before any of the "trenches" formed in the field before the face. The depression over ICA is clear. The date and legends are complete and strong. Our grade is VF30. The attribution and Lou Alfonso Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 7 finer. Estimated Value $2,000 - UP
