1794 S-41 R3 PCGS graded XF40. Attractive glossy medium chocolate brown and steel. The surfaces are smooth and the only notable marks are a small rim nick at the top of the cap and another above the second T in STATES, plus a nick hidden in the hair below the cap. EDS, Breen state II, with an uncracked reverse. Nicely struck except for the usual weakness at OF. A very nice cent that has excellent eye appeal. Our grade is VF20+, close to VF25. The attribution and Alfonso Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS Population 3; 5 finer. Estimated Value $4,500 - UP
