1794 S-19b R4 Head of 1793 PCGS graded F12. Glossy golden tan with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The surfaces are mostly smooth but a glass reveals some tiny planchet chips scattered over both sides. No corrosion or verdigris. The only notable marks are several light rim bruises on both sides, a minor scratch hidden in the toning left of the date, a small chip out of the planchet near the rim off the chin, and a dull nick at the junction of the feet of the E & N in CENT. MDS with minor swelling in the field below the cap. The upturned leaf following DOLLAR is not visible in the holder, but the attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Our grade is net VG10. The attribution and Alfonso Collection Provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 5 finer. Estimated Value $6,000 - UP
